BONUS ISSUE OF SHARES UP TO 262,079,985 NEW ORDINARY SHARES IN SJC ("SJC SHARES") ("BONUS SHARES") ON THE BASIS OF 3 BONUS SHARES FOR EVERY 1 EXISTING SJC SHARE HELD AS AT 5.00 P.M. ON 8 NOVEMBER 2022 ("ENTITLEMENT DATE") ("BONUS ISSUE OF SHARES")

1) The above Company?s securities will be traded and quoted ?Ex-Bonus Issue? as from: 07 Nov 2022
2) The last date of lodgment : 08 Nov 2022
3) Retention Money: Where securities are not delivered in time for registration by the seller, then the brokers concerned:-
a) Selling Broker to deduct <3/4>, of Selling Price against the Selling Client
b) Buying Broker to deduct <75%>, of Purchase Price against the Buying Client
c) Between Broker and Broker, the deduction of <3/4>, of the Transacted Price is applicable.

Remarks 1:-

Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd would like to clarify that on the basis of settlement taking place after 08 Nov 2022 with bonus issue of SJC shares, any shareholder who is entitled to receive SJC bonus issue shares, may sell any or all of his SJC shares arising from the bonus issue beginning the Ex-Date (07 Nov 2022).

For example, if Mr X purchases 100 SJC shares on cum basis on 04 Nov 2022, Mr X should receive 100 shares on 08 Nov 2022. As a result of the bonus issue, an additional of 300 SJC shares will be credited into Mr X's CDS account on the night of 08 Nov 2022 being the Book Closing Date. Therefore, Mr X can sell a total of 400 shares on or after the Ex-Date i.e. from 07 Nov 2022 onwards.

Remarks 2:-

The date of the listing of and quotation of the Bonus Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") will be on 9 November 2022, being the next market day following the Entitlement Date.

The notice of allotment for the Bonus Shares will be issued and despatched to all entitled shareholders at the address as per Record of Depositors within 4 market days after the date of the listing of and quotation for the Bonus Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Securities
